**NEW Alki Low Tide Walk

Join us for a beach stroll with a Community Naturalist! We’ll look for, and learn remarkable facts about a variety of species living in the intertidal zone including sea stars, anemones, crabs, moon snails and more.

Expect to stand/walk for two hours. Wear sturdy shoes that can get wet. We’ll practice caution and likely encounter wet, rocky, and variable terrain. Bring water and any snacks you may want along the way.

Meet up details will be sent to registered participants prior to the program. A conversation with SPR’s Dementia-Friendly Recreation Specialist is required for 1st time participants. Please contact tamara.keefe@seattle.gov to schedule.
