Re-Ignite the Mind with Improv & Play - Greenwood

  • Taproot Theatre 212 N. 85th Street Seattle (map)

Get ready for fun right before the Alzheimer’s Café!
Join your favorite Taproot Improv actors for an hour of stimulating theatre fun that activates the brain as well as the funny bone.

This popular class uses improvisation and theatre games to tap into the creative abilities of individuals experiencing Early Stage Memory Loss (ESML) and their care partners.

Improv participants engage fully in the present, making improvisation a perfect theatre class for students with ESML.  There is no memory requirement, just the delight of participating in a creative experience that releases the imagination while giving a sense of accomplishment, self confidence and social enrichment.

Find success as you learn new things, interact socially and live creatively in the moment.   -Highly recommended for both care partners and those experiencing ESML as class exercises can add a wonderful new dimension to daily life.

This drop in class is just $10 per session payable the day of class.  Class is held in Taproot’s Isaac Studio Theatre. 212 N. 85th St. in Seattle
