Disrupt Dementia Music & Storytelling Workshop
Dr. Bill Thomas’ ChangingAging Tour is hiring self-advocates living with dementia and their care partners to participate in a storytelling workshop in Seattle Feb. 23-24. All participants will be compensated for their involvement and credited.
Participants will collaborate in script development of Disrupt Dementia, a paradigm-shifting, non-fiction theater performance designed to de-stigmatize dementia to be performed around North America and in Seattle May 3, 2017. The workshop will include participatory musical performances featuring world-renowned musician Samite Mulondo.
The workshop runs 9:30am-3:30pm February 23 and 24 in North Seattle. Lunch will be provided and participants will receive a $150 stipend.
