A Celebration of Classic Film
Peter Pan is the second film in the Musicals are Golden! series. Although the films are designed for people affected by dementia, their care partners and family members, they are open and welcoming to an all-ages audience.
Soar to Neverland with Peter Pan and the Darling children as harpist-composer Leslie McMichael unfurls her lush and enchanting original score to the 1924 silent film release. Magnificently restored after having been lost for more than 70 years, PETER PAN is a cinematic gem and a spellbinding musical adventure for all boys and girls who never grew up.
Musicals are Golden! is one of several creative and social enrichment programs being piloted in the Dementia-Inclusive Series at The Edmonds Center for the Arts. Musicals are Golden! is a collaboration between Edmonds Center for the Arts, Northwest Film Forum, Elderwise and Barclay Shelton Dance Center.
