In the spirit of Momentia, come together to celebrate the strengths and gifts from our community members living with dementia. All talents are welcome—song, music, skits, dance, circus acts, jokes, story-telling, poetry, magic tricks and more. You’re welcome to perform solo, or together as a family, with a friend or with a group. Artwork and photography will also be displayed. So get creative, have some fun and let your talents shine! There are many ways to participate from being a member of the audience to on the stage!
Enjoy the debut of the “Momentia Strum and Drum Band”, a performance of the original song “Our Time has Come” by the Greenwood Senior Center’s Gathering Place, watercolor paintings by Elderwise participants and more!
Cost: $3 suggested donation at the door. Refreshments provided.
Space is limited. Sign up by April 23 to attend, perform or display artwork and to reserve van transportation from Beacon Hill by calling Cayce Cheairs (206) 615-0100 or cayce.cheairs@seattle.gov
