Vision for a Dementia-Friendly Medical Clinic: Lecture & Discussion

·      What does it mean to have a “dementia-friendly” medical clinic? 

·      And how can we all be involved in advocating for a better healthcare experience for ourselves and others living with memory loss? 

Join visiting geriatric psychiatrist and director of the Idaho Memory & Aging Center, Dr. Abhilash Desai, and Geriatric Medicine fellow Dr. Amanda Rosen,  for a brief lecture followed by lively discussion on these topics.  UW Medicine Memory & Brain Wellness Center director, Dr. Tom Grabowski, will also be present. 

This event is especially for persons living with memory loss, friends and family are also welcome.

Public Transportation:  Harborview Hospital is accessible by Bus #3, 4, 60, 205 and there is parking available in hospital parking garages at a cost of $5 for 2 hours.
