A Celebration of Classic Film
Singin’ In the Rain is a celebration of classic film. Although the films are designed for people affected by dementia, their care partners and family members, they are open and welcoming to an all-ages audience.
Originally released in 1952 Singin’ In the Rain is filled with iconic moments and classic songs and is one of the greatest Hollywood musicals ever made. Directed by Stanley Dolan & Gene Kelly. With Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, Jean Hagen and Debbie Reynolds.
Musicals are Golden! is one of several creative and social enrichment programs being piloted in the Dementia-Inclusive Series at The Edmonds Center for the Arts. Musicals are Golden! is a collaboration between Edmonds Center for the Arts, Northwest Film Forum, Elderwise and Barclay Shelton Dance Center.
