Memory Loss Zoo Walks
The Memory Loss Zoo Walk began in 2011 as a weekly Early Stage Memory Loss program. It offered individuals with memory loss and their care partners the opportunity to join a regular walking group and to socialize and build relationships with others in similar situations.
Today, there are three weekly walks that last approximately 45-60 minutes and are followed by a social get-together and conversation in the zoo's cafe which last anywhere from 30-60 minutes. The walks take place as follows
Middle Stage Memory Loss Walk at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle on Mondays
